His research interests are mostly related to his cultural background and the place where he lives (Canton China, London), such as Chinese folk beliefs, immigrant communities, Orientalism, etc. His practice is inspired by investigating marginal materials specificly from an auto-ethnographic perspective, and drawing out their specific minor social histories. Mainly, he applies installation and video as the final outcome of my practice. He is also a mudlarker, picking up objects of archaeological value on the banks of the Thames and creating works based on the study of them.
